Incubators and Technology Parks are environments that promote innovation, providing a structure for promoting the economic and technological development of companies. Their purpose is to provide technical, managerial support and additional training to entrepreneurs, facilitating technological development and access to markets and investments.
One of the sector’s main challenges is its dependence on public funding for its sustainability. In Brazil, there are few self-sustainable initiatives from an economic point of view. In addition to the lack of entrepreneurial vision, such environments often lack professional, results-oriented management. To address this challenge, the CERNE model was structured, which establishes a set of practices and processes in order to promote sustainability and generate successful ventures.
V&F has a portfolio of more than 70 incubators and technology parks, with market and feasibility studies for new operations, in addition to implementations and certifications of the CERNE model.
